Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies and plans specifically for mobile application testing on Android and iOS platforms.
- Design, create, and execute detailed test cases based on mobile-specific business and technical requirements.
- Perform compatibility testing to ensure mobile applications function correctly across various devices, OS versions, screen sizes, and resolutions.
- Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage for mobile apps.
- Conduct regression testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for mobile applications.
- Perform cross-platform testing to ensure consistent performance and behavior on both Android and iOS devices.
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide detailed reports and metrics on mobile application performance.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members, sharing best practices for mobile testing.
- Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance mobile product quality.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all mobile application streams.
- Maintain up-to-date test libraries specific to mobile apps (e.g., test scenarios, test cases).
- Work closely with SIT and UAT testing teams, reviewing mobile testing scenarios, test cases, and helping developers and testers resolve any questions regarding mobile app requirements.
- Record defects using defect tracking tools with priority and severity and promptly alert the management regarding critical mobile app issues.
- Manage planning and communicate with stakeholders regarding mobile app testing progress.
- Prepare regular reports on test results related to mobile applications.
- Support business users in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for mobile applications.
- Support Operations and Business Users teams to complete mobile app testing.
- Manage testing activities when required and address issues/testing delays.
- Lead Defect Management activities specifically for mobile applications
