About the Role :

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer with strong React Native expertise and hands-on experience building AI-powered applications. The ideal candidate should be comfortable developing production-grade iOS and Android applications using React Native while also integrating LLM, RAG and AI capabilities into mobile products.

You will work closely with product, backend, design and QA teams to build scalable, secure and high-performance mobile experiences and integrate modern AI capabilities into the product.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and maintain production-grade React Native applications for iOS and Android.

- Develop reusable, scalable and maintainable mobile components using React, JavaScript and TypeScript.

- Work with React Native navigation, state management, networking, persistence and offline capabilities.

- Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, authentication, notifications, deep links, analytics and third-party SDKs.

- Develop and integrate AI-powered mobile features using LLMs and RAG architectures.

- Work with LLM APIs, embeddings, vector databases and retrieval pipelines to deliver AI-driven experiences.

- Design and integrate RAG pipelines for contextual search, recommendations, conversational experiences or knowledge-based applications.

- Work with AI/LLM frameworks and orchestration tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph or equivalent.

- Integrate native iOS/Android modules and third-party SDKs where required.

- Debug JavaScript, React Native and native platform issues across iOS and Android.

- Optimize application startup time, rendering performance, memory usage, battery consumption and crash-free sessions.

- Work with Xcode, CocoaPods, Android Studio and Gradle for mobile development and troubleshooting.

- Implement automated testing using appropriate mobile/web testing frameworks.

- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support mobile build, signing, deployment and release processes.

- Monitor production applications, investigate crashes and performance issues, and drive reliability improvements.

- Follow mobile security best practices around authentication, data storage, API communication and sensitive information.

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and architecture decisions.

- Collaborate with backend, AI/ML, product, design, QA and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end features.

Mandatory Skills :

- 3+ years of software engineering experience, with strong hands-on mobile development.

- 2+ years of React Native development in production environments.

- Strong React, JavaScript and TypeScript skills.

- Experience developing and maintaining iOS and Android applications using React Native.

- Strong understanding of mobile architecture, reusable components, state management and API integration.

- Hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI.

- Mandatory hands-on experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).

- Experience working with LLM APIs, embeddings, vector databases and retrieval/search pipelines.

- Experience with at least one AI framework/tool such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, OpenAI, Gemini, Claude or equivalent.

- Experience integrating AI/LLM functionality into real-world applications.

- Knowledge of mobile authentication, notifications, deep linking and local storage.

- Experience with mobile debugging and performance optimization.

- Exposure to Xcode, Android Studio, Gradle and CocoaPods.

- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have:

- React Native New Architecture - Fabric, JSI, TurboModules and Hermes.

- Experience with Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, Appium or similar.

- Experience with Firebase, Crashlytics, Sentry, analytics and feature flags.

- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, Milvus or pgvector.

- Experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK, Google ADK or MCP.

- Experience with prompt engineering, RAG evaluation and LLM observability.

- Experience with multimodal AI, AI agents or conversational AI.

- Experience with Redux Toolkit, Zustand, TanStack Query or similar state/data-management libraries.

- Experience with Fastlane and automated mobile release pipelines.

- Experience with offline-first mobile architecture.

- Published applications on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
