Role Description :

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior MDM Architect - Banking. The Senior MDM Architect will be responsible for designing master data management (MDM) architectural solutions, integrating MDM systems with existing infrastructure, and leading the implementation of MDM projects.

The role includes collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure the effective alignment of MDM strategies with business goals.

The Senior MDM Architect will also oversee and direct project management related to MDM system implementation and optimization.

Summary :

- Looking for a senior MDM architect with strong match & merge expertise in banking who can lead/architect the stream not just configure.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Masters degree preferred)

- Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance standards is a plus

Experience :

- 10+ years total IT experience

- 7-10+ years strong hands-on IBM InfoSphere MDM (v10 preferred) / IDMC is a must

- Banking / Financial Services MDM experience mandatory

- Delivered large-scale Customer Domain MDM implementations for large FS

Core Skills (Must Have) :

- Probabilistic & deterministic entity matching

- Match scoring & threshold tuning

- Duplicate Suspect Processing (DSP)

- Auto-merge & manual steward workflows

- Golden record & survivorship rule design

- Merge governance & audit controls

- Performance optimisation for large data loads

- Experience on the use of agentic for MDM is a strong plus

- Experience on building hierarchy

Leadership Responsibilities :

- Ability to act as Lead SME

- Mentor / Recruit team members

- Review & optimise existing match strategy
