Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Manhattan Active Consultant / Platform Solution Architect to architect, implement, and optimize large-scale Manhattan Active OMS and WMS solutions for complex retail and supply chain ecosystems. This role demands deep functional and technical expertise, strong architectural leadership, and the ability to deliver cloud-native, highly scalable, and resilient solutions across global enterprises.

The candidate will be responsible for defining solution blueprints, driving system integrations, and ensuring seamless execution of omnichannel fulfillment strategies using Manhattan Active Platform.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Enterprise Solution Architecture :

- Own the end-to-end architecture of Manhattan Active OMS/WMS solutions across multiple business units

- Design scalable, modular, and future-ready architectures aligned with enterprise IT standards

- Define logical, physical, and integration architecture models

- Ensure solutions meet performance, availability, security, and compliance requirements

- Drive architectural decisions related to data flow, system boundaries, and service orchestration

2. Manhattan Active Platform Leadership :

- Lead functional and technical design of Manhattan Active OMS and WMS implementations

Configure and customize platform capabilities including :

- Order orchestration and routing

- Distributed Order Management

- Inventory visibility and ATP/CTP logic

- Fulfillment optimization

- Warehouse execution, wave planning, and labor management

- Guide teams on Manhattan Active best practices and product roadmaps

- Support platform upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvements

3. Omnichannel & Supply Chain Enablement :

- Design solutions supporting BOPIS, BORIS, Ship-from-Store, Ship-to-Home, Dropship, and same-day delivery

- Enable real-time inventory synchronization across stores, warehouses, and DCs

- Optimize order lifecycle management from capture to final fulfillment

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align IT solutions with supply chain strategy

4. Integration & Microservices Architecture :

- Architect robust API-first integrations between Manhattan Active and enterprise systems (ERP, POS, CRM, TMS, payment gateways, 3PLs)

- Design event-driven and asynchronous messaging patterns

- Ensure fault tolerance, retry mechanisms, and error handling strategies

- Work closely with development teams on microservices design and implementation

- Validate integration performance under high transaction volumes

5. Cloud-Native & Platform Engineering :

- Design cloud-ready solutions leveraging containerized architectures

- Apply Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and scalability

- Ensure alignment with cloud security, networking, and monitoring standards

Collaborate with DevOps teams on :

- CI/CD pipelines

- Automated testing and deployments

- Environment provisioning and release management

6. Performance, Scalability & Reliability :

- Design systems capable of handling peak traffic, seasonal spikes, and high-volume order processing

- Define non-functional requirements (NFRs) including SLA, latency, and throughput

- Lead performance tuning and optimization initiatives

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies

7. Stakeholder Management & Leadership :

- Act as the primary technical advisor for business and IT stakeholders

- Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, and technical discussions

- Translate business objectives into technical solutions and roadmaps

- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to consultants, developers, and architects

- Support pre-sales efforts including solutioning, proposals, and estimations

Manhattan Active Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Manhattan Active OMS and/or WMS

- Deep understanding of Manhattan Active architecture and configuration

- Experience with large-scale Manhattan implementations and rollouts

- Proven experience delivering Manhattan Active OMS/WMS projects end-to-end

- Experience working with global, enterprise-scale clients

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline

Nice to Have/Preferred Skills :

- Manhattan Active certifications (OMS / WMS)

- Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery architectures

- Exposure to Agile, SAFe, or Scrum delivery methodologies

- Experience in retail modernization or digital transformation programs

- Knowledge of security, compliance, and data governance frameworks
