We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Magento/Shopify Developer who can drive end-to-end eCommerce implementations and provide strong technical leadership across Magento projects. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with Shopify / Shopify Plus and be comfortable supporting parallel Shopify development initiatives.

This role requires strong ownership, architectural thinking, team leadership, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and deliver end-to-end Magento (Adobe Commerce) projects, including requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and performance optimization.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Magento development teams.

- Design and architect scalable solutions, customizations, and integrations on Magento 2 platforms.

- Support and contribute to Shopify / Shopify Plus development and enhancement activities as required.

- Develop and maintain custom Magento modules, themes, and extensions.

- Implement integrations with third-party systems such as ERP, CRM, PIM, OMS, Payment Gateways, and Shipping APIs.

- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, QA, Business Analysts, UI/UX, and DevOps teams to ensure quality delivery and timeline adherence.

- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote reusable and scalable components.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with strong ownership and urgency.

- Participate in project scoping, estimation, presales discussions, and proposal support when required.

Required Skills & Experience :

1. 6- 10 years of professional software development experience, with a minimum of 5 years in Magento 2.

2. Strong expertise in Magento 2 development, including :

a. Custom module and theme development

b. REST & GraphQL APIs

c. EAV model, indexing, caching, and performance tuning

3. Hands-on experience with Shopify / Shopify Plus, including :

a. Custom theme development using Liquid

b. App integrations and customizations

c. Storefront UI/UX enhancements

4. Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery.

5. Experience with Knockout.js / React (good to have).

6. Familiarity with modern build and dependency tools such as Composer, npm, webpack.

7. Solid understanding of cloud hosting environments, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control.

8. Experience working with Adobe Commerce modules (B2B, Page Builder, MSI) is preferred.

9. Prior experience integrating eCommerce platforms with ERP systems using APIs or middleware platforms.

10. Adobe Certified Magento Developer / Professional certification is a plus.
