Senior/Lead Implementation Engineer - Python

Role Overview :

As a Senior / Lead Implementation Engineer, you will lead and deliver complex customer implementations of an enterprise insurance platform.

You will work closely with customers and internal teams to design, configure, and deploy scalable, production-ready solutions while owning delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end planning, scoping, execution, and delivery of customer implementations

- Own delivery timelines, risk identification, and mitigation

- Act as technical escalation point for complex customer issues

- Design and implement production-grade, customer-specific solutions and integrations

- Translate ambiguous business requirements into clear technical deliverables

- Lead technical discovery and solution design sessions with customers

- Write, debug, and maintain production and integration code

- Manage UAT cycles, customer feedback, and issue resolution

- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams

- Influence architectural decisions based on deployment experience

- Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and delivery playbooks

- Drive automation and process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong insurance domain expertise and understanding of industry workflows

- Hands-on coding experience with Python, JavaScript, and SQL

- Experience building and supporting production systems and complex integrations

- Solid understanding of APIs, system design, data flows, and integration patterns

- Experience customizing and extending enterprise software platforms

- Ability to estimate technical effort and manage delivery risks

- Familiarity with UAT processes and iterative delivery models

- Strong documentation and communication skills

- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

- Leadership mindset with experience mentoring junior engineers
