Job Summary :

We are seeking a Senior Lead with deep expertise in Java development, advanced knowledge of networking and communication protocols (such as SFTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS), and hands-on experience with ReactJS.

The ideal candidate will architect, design, and lead the development of secure, scalable applications, integrating backend and frontend components, and ensuring robust data transfer and interoperability.

This role involves technical leadership, mentoring, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Technical Leadership : Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade applications using Java and ReactJS.

- Networking & Protocols : Architect and implement secure data transfer solutions using SFTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and other protocols.

- Integration : Ensure seamless integration between backend services and ReactJS frontends, including RESTful API design and consumption.

- Quality & Security : Enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure compliance with security best practices and organisational policies.

- Mentoring : Guide and mentor junior developers, foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

- Collaboration : Work closely with DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions in Agile environments.

- Documentation : Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and handover materials.

Must Have Skills :

- Java : Advanced proficiency in Core Java, OOP, multithreading, collections, exception handling, and design patterns.

- Networking & Communication Protocols : Hands-on experience with SFTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, certificate management, and secure configuration.

- ReactJS : Strong experience building SPAs, state management, hooks, and integrating with backend APIs.

- RESTful APIs : Design and consumption of RESTful services.

- Testing & Tools : Unit and integration testing (JUnit, Jest, etc.), Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines.

- SQL : 4-8 years (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar), including query optimisation, indexing, and stored procedures.

- NoSQL : 4-8 years (MongoDB, Cassandra, or similar), including schema design and CRUD operations.

- Leadership : Proven experience in technical leadership and mentoring.

- RESTful API development and integration.

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Understanding of secure coding practices and data protection.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Nice to Have Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

- Exposure to other frontend frameworks (Angular, Vue).

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
