About the job

- Senior Java Developer based in India. This is a 100% remote opportunity where youll work on large-scale digital platforms, combining backend engineering with AI-assisted development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and scale backend systems using Java (Spring Boot) and Python.

- Build and integrate AI-assisted and agent-driven systems into production workflows.

- Develop responsive frontend components using React where required.

- Architect and deploy cloud-native applications using Kubernetes, Cloud Run, and secure networking practices.

- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, including reusable modules and environment automation.

- Integrate and optimize LLMs (Large Language Models) within business applications.

- Design and manage APIs using GraphQL, REST, and API gateway patterns.

- Work with distributed systems using Kafka for real-time data processing.

- Manage and optimize data storage using Elasticsearch, SQL, and NoSQL databases.

- Lead system architecture discussions, mentor junior engineers, and drive technical innovation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of overall software development experience.

- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java and strong expertise in Spring Boot.

- 2+ years of experience building or designing AI-assisted / agent-driven systems.

- Strong programming skills in Python and working knowledge of React.

- Solid experience in cloud engineering, including Kubernetes, Cloud Run, IAM, and networking.

- Hands-on expertise in Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).

- Experience integrating LLMs into real-world production environments.

- Strong understanding of Kafka, GraphQL (schemas & resolvers), and API gateway architectures.

- Experience working with Elasticsearch, relational (SQL), and NoSQL databases.

- Familiarity with agent-first development workflows (e.g., Google Antigravity or similar).

- Exposure to AI tools and platforms such as Anthropic Claude Sonnet, Claude-based bots, or open-source AI agents.

- Proven leadership experience, including mentoring and architectural decision-making.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with Windsurf, autonomous coding agents, or MCP-based workflows.

- Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic automation.

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Workload Identity Federation, Snyk, SonarQube, and performance testing frameworks.
