Senior Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java,
Spring Boot, microservices, and database management. You will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and smooth integration with internal and third-party services. The role involves hands-on architecture, development, optimization, and platform enhancement

Responsibilities :

Backend Development :

- Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java/Spring Boot.

- Implement business logic, core platform workflows, and backend architecture.

- Develop and maintain microservices for modular and scalable systems.

- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.

Database & Data Management :

- Design, optimize, and maintain database schemas in PostgreSQL.

- Implement data access layers using JPA/Hibernate.

- Ensure data integrity, security, and consistency across the platform.

- Optimize complex queries and database performance.

System Integration :

- Integrate backend systems with third-party platforms such as Shopify, payment gateways, etc.

- Implement file upload, storage, and content management capabilities.

- Develop and maintain ONIX metadata processing workflows.

- Build analytics and reporting modules to support business insights.

Platform Scalability & Security :

- Implement authentication and authorization using Spring Security.

- Ensure platform and data security following industry standards.

- Improve application performance, reliability, and system scalability.

- Implement caching layers and performance monitoring too.

Skills Required :

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture.

- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, JPA, Hibernate, and ORM principles.

- Experience with third-party API integrations and webhooks.

- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and best practices.

- Experience with caching (Redis/Equivalent) and performance tuning.
