Role : Senior Java Backend Developer

About the Role :

We are looking for a high-impact Java Backend Developer to work on large-scale, product-based systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, and should be comfortable working in Tier-1 / Tier-2 product environments handling scale, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot

- Build and optimize RESTful APIs used by high-traffic applications

- Work on microservices architecture, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance

- Collaborate closely with product, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams

- Optimize application performance, memory usage, and database queries

- Implement secure, maintainable, and reusable code

- Participate in system design discussions and architecture reviews

- Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing

- Handle production issues, debugging, and performance tuning

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6 to 9 years of experience in Java backend development

- Strong hands-on experience with Java (Core Java), Spring Boot, Spring MVC

- Experience with Hibernate / JPA

- Solid understanding of microservices architecture

- Strong experience with SQL databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle)

- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and API design

- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle

- Strong grasp of data structures, OOPs, and design principles

- Experience working in product-based companies (Tier-1 / Tier-2 preferred)

Good to Have :

- Experience with Kafka / RabbitMQ

- Exposure to AWS / GCP / Azure

- Knowledge of Docker & CI/CD pipelines

- Experience with caching (Redis, Memcached)

- Basic understanding of Spring Security / JWT

- Exposure to system design and scalability challenges
