About the Role :

We are looking for a Senior Implementation Engineer to support the technical foundation of customer onboarding and implementation at Zenskar.

This role works closely with the founders and collaborates with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to ensure accurate configuration, data migration, workflow setup, and successful customer onboarding.

You will play a key role in translating customer requirements into reliable technical execution within a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities :

You will support end-to-end onboarding and technical implementation for enterprise customers.

Technical Implementation :

- Understand customer billing logic, usage patterns, and data structures to configure the platform accurately.

- Execute technical setup across contracts, pricing, metering, invoicing, workflows, and data models.

- Write scripts (primarily JavaScript) to support data migration, transformation, and configuration automation.

- Build and validate configuration workflows aligned with customer requirements.

Product & Engineering Collaboration :

- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to troubleshoot implementation challenges and edge cases.

- Provide structured technical feedback to improve product capabilities.

- Prepare clearly scoped technical handoffs when backend or product intervention is required.

Customer Onboarding Support :

- Participate in onboarding cycles and pilot implementations to ensure technical completeness within timelines.

- Run validation tests and confirm workflows align with defined customer outcomes.

- Debug API flows, data ingestion pipelines, and configuration-related issues.

Documentation & Enablement :

- Create implementation notes, runbooks, and configuration documentation.

- Contribute to internal knowledge bases and onboarding playbooks.

- Communicate effectively with both customers and internal teams

Ideal Candidate Profile :

- Professionals from Implementation Engineer / Solutions Engineer / Technical Consultant / SaaS Onboarding Engineer backgrounds.

Mandatory Requirements :

- 4+ years of experience in technical implementation, solutions engineering, or customer-facing engineering roles within B2B SaaS environments (preferably supporting global or US customers).

- Experience owning end-to-end enterprise onboarding and technical implementations, including requirement gathering, configuration, integrations, validation, and post go-live support.

- Strong Python scripting skills with experience in data migration, ETL workflows, automation, and data transformation (CSV, JSON, spreadsheets, APIs).

- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, integrations, JSON payload debugging, and authentication workflows.

- Experience with data modeling, SQL queries (PostgreSQL preferred), validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks.

- Proven collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to resolve implementation blockers.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or equivalent technical background) OR prior early-career experience as a Software

Engineer/Developer before moving into implementation roles.

- Experience working in B2B SaaS or services organizations serving global or North American customers in customer-facing roles.

Preferred Experience :

- Exposure to FinTech SaaS, billing platforms, finance automation, or subscription management products.
