Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, customize, and enhance IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) applications.
- Configure and implement Sterling OMS components to support end-to-end order lifecycle management.
- Develop and customize business processes, pipelines, services, agents, APIs, and user exits.
- Build and maintain integrations with external enterprise applications using REST and SOAP web services.
- Configure inventory visibility, sourcing, fulfillment, shipping, returns, and order orchestration workflows.
- Customize and support Next Generation Call Center and Order Hub applications.
- Develop XML-based configurations, XSLT transformations, and JSON payload processing.
- Optimize system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve application defects.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical solution design.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with QA teams during integration, regression, and UAT testing.
- Support production deployments, release management, and post-production stabilization.
- Work closely with business analysts to understand functional requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across project teams.
Required Technical Skills :
- 1012 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS).
- Strong expertise in :

5. Sterling Business Center
6. Distributed Order Management (DOM)
- Strong programming expertise in Core Java and J2EE.
- Hands-on experience developing custom services, APIs, agents, pipelines, and user exits.

- Experience with RESTful APIs and SOAP-based integrations.
- Strong understanding of :
1. Order Capture
2. Order Fulfillment

5. Shipment Processing

- Experience working with DB2 and/or Oracle Database.
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience with application servers such as WebSphere or Liberty.
- Familiarity with Maven, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to microservices architecture is an added advantage.
