We are seeking an experienced Systems Programmer I to join a global infrastructure engineering team responsible for supporting and enhancing enterprise IBM Mainframe environments. The role will be instrumental in delivering key infrastructure initiatives, including z16 server upgrades, operating system upgrades, security patching, disaster recovery preparedness, and maintaining platform stability for mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide technical support for IBM Mainframe Services, z/OS Platform Engineering, and IBM Z hardware environments.

- Perform software installation, maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle management using SMP/E.

- Support operating system upgrades, security patching, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

- Configure and maintain z/OSMF workflows and software deployment processes.

- Manage software ordering, maintenance, and vendor support through IBM systems.

- Analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues using diagnostic and debugging tools.

- Configure and maintain RACF security controls and policies.

- Support Sysplex and Coupling Facility configurations.

- Configure and manage IBM Hardware Management Console (HMC) environments.

- Participate in 24x7 on-call support and incident response activities.

- Develop and maintain REXX utilities, automation scripts, and system exits.

- Ensure platform stability, availability, and performance across production environments.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 10+ years of hands-on experience supporting IBM Mainframe z/OS environments.
