About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Senior HRIS Analyst with expertise in Workday Compensation (Core & Advanced) to support the design, configuration, administration, and optimization of enterprise HR systems. The ideal candidate will have strong functional and technical knowledge of Workday, with hands-on experience in compensation configuration, business processes, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration. This role will partner closely with HR Operations, Compensation, HR Business Partners, and technical teams to deliver scalable Workday solutions for a global organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Configure and maintain Workday Core & Advanced Compensation modules, including compensation plans, merit cycles, bonus plans, grade profiles, allowance plans, and eligibility rules.
- Design and manage Workday business processes, condition rules, routing steps, and approval workflows.
- Support annual compensation review cycles, including merit planning, budget pools, proration rules, and off-cycle compensation events.
- Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and analytics to support business and leadership reporting.
- Collaborate with HR, Compensation, Payroll, HR Business Partners, and technical teams to gather business requirements and implement system enhancements.
- Configure, test, and deploy Workday enhancements, system updates, and bi-annual Workday releases.
- Build and load data using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and perform bulk updates through Mass Operations Management (MOM).
- Support Workday integrations by coordinating with Enterprise Applications and Integration teams.
- Create functional documentation, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure successful deployment of system changes.
- Monitor HRIS processes for compliance, data integrity, and system governance.
- Utilize Jira to manage configuration requests, enhancements, testing, approvals, and deployments.
- Provide end-user support, knowledge transfer, and training to HR Operations teams.
Required Skills :
- 5+ years of experience in HRIS or HR Technology.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Compensation (Core & Advanced).
- Strong expertise in Workday configuration, business processes, reporting, calculated fields, and security.
- Experience supporting annual compensation cycles, merit planning, and compensation administration.
- Hands-on experience with EIB, Workday reporting, and data management.
- Experience working with Jira and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with Workday HCM configuration.
- Knowledge of Payroll processes and Workday integrations.
- Experience supporting global HR systems, preferably US-based organizations.
- Workday PRO Certification in Compensation or Advanced Compensation is preferred.
