Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Guidewire Developer with extensive experience in Guidewire InsuranceSuite implementation, customization and integration. The candidate will be responsible for leading complex development activities, designing technical solutions and ensuring successful delivery of Guidewire-based insurance applications. Strong expertise in Gosu, Guidewire configuration, integrations and insurance domain processes is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead development and customization activities across Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter and BillingCenter.

- Design and implement complex business functionalities using Gosu and Guidewire configuration.

- Develop integration solutions between Guidewire applications and third-party enterprise systems.

- Work on advanced Guidewire components, including data models, workflows, business rules, PCF and product model configuration.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

- Drive performance optimization, debugging and resolution of complex technical issues.

- Provide technical guidance and code reviews to junior developers.

- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA and project stakeholders.

- Participate in technical design discussions, estimation and sprint planning.

- Support end-to-end implementation, deployment and production troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 9 - 12 years of overall IT experience with substantial hands-on Guidewire development experience.

- Strong expertise in Guidewire InsuranceSuite, particularly PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter or BillingCenter.

- Advanced proficiency in Gosu programming and Guidewire configuration.

- Strong understanding of Guidewire architecture, data models, workflows and product models.

- Experience designing and implementing Guidewire integrations using REST, SOAP and messaging frameworks.

- Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, SQL and object-oriented programming.

- Experience with Guidewire upgrades, enhancements and application modernization.

- Understanding of P&C insurance processes and business workflows.

- Experience in technical leadership, code reviews and mentoring development teams.

- Exposure to CI/CD, automated testing and Agile delivery practices.
