Role Description :

This is a contract remote role for a Senior Generative AI Engineer at MindBrain. The Senior Generative AI Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing AI algorithms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation in AI technologies.

MindBrain is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Generative AI Engineer to join our dynamic and forward-thinking AI team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge generative AI models to solve complex problems across multiple domains. You will collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product teams to integrate AI solutions into real-world applications, driving innovation in AI-driven technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and optimize generative AI architectures including GANs, VAEs, Diffusion Models, LLMs, and Transformers tailored to business applications.

- Train large-scale models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX. Fine-tune pre-trained models and optimize performance for deployment.

- Stay current with state-of-the-art advancements in generative AI and propose ways to integrate them into company solutions.

- Work with product, design, data, and backend teams to define model requirements and successfully integrate AI systems into production.

- Build and maintain data ingestion, preprocessing, and augmentation pipelines to support model development.

- Conduct rigorous validation of models using appropriate metrics and benchmarks; iterate based on results to improve output quality and robustness.

- Document architecture, training processes, and experimental results. Present findings and updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Education :

- Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.

- 68 years of industry experience in machine learning and AI, with at least 2+ years focused on generative models.

- Expert in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)

- Strong knowledge of NLP, CV, or multi-modal generative modeling

- Experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT, T5) and fine-tuning transformer architectures

- Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure for model training and deployment

- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes is a plus

- Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and model serving (e.g., TorchServe, ONNX, Triton)

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong written and verbal communication

- Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment

- Contributions to research papers, open-source AI projects, or patents

- Experience working on generative applications like AI-based image/video/audio synthesis, content creation tools, or chatbots

- Experience in reinforcement learning or self-supervised learning
