About the role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Engineer/Consultant specializing in Siemens Polarion. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leveraging Siemens Polarion ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) to streamline, optimize, and enhance software development processes. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact projects, mentor team members, and contribute to the strategic growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Polarion ALM Implementation and Customization :

- Lead the deployment, configuration, and customization of Siemens Polarion solutions to meet organizational and client-specific requirements.

- Develop and maintain workflows, templates, and dashboards for optimal project management and reporting.

- Analyze existing application lifecycle processes and recommend solutions for improvement using Polarion ALM tools.

- Integrate Polarion ALM with other tools and platforms (e.g., Jira, Jenkins, Git) to establish seamless workflows.

2. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management :

- Act as the primary technical expert and point of contact for Polarion-related inquiries.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, QA teams, and external stakeholders.

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the organization.

- Create detailed technical documentation, including configuration guides, user manuals, and system specifications.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience in Application Lifecycle Management, with at least 4+ years specializing in Siemens Polarion ALM.

- Strong expertise in configuring Polarion solutions, including workflows, templates, and integrations.

- Proficiency in scripting and API usage for Polarion customization (e.g., JavaScript, REST API).

- Experience with integration tools and platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Jira, and other CI/CD tools).

- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or other software development methodologies.

Desired Skills :

- Certifications in Siemens Polarion or related fields.

- Experience with cloud-based Polarion deployments.

- Familiarity with other ALM and PLM tools like Teamcenter majorly.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
