Role Overview :

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Whitewhale Software Solutions, you will play a critical role in building, maintaining, and improving our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of our B2C applications. Your work will directly impact the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems, ultimately enhancing the user experience for millions of customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployments.

- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS or Azure to ensure high availability and cost-effectiveness.

- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and responsiveness for our B2C applications.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure.

- Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages like Python or Bash to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

- Participate in on-call rotations to provide timely support for production systems and resolve critical incidents.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

- Proven expertise in managing and automating cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and system administration.

- Solid understanding of Linux system administration and networking principles.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.

- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
