Job Description :
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to take full ownership of our infrastructure and automation roadmap. This is not a "task-taker" role; we need a self-driven engineer who can identify bottlenecks, design scalable solutions, and execute them with minimal supervision.
You will be responsible for a sophisticated AWS environment, ensuring high availability, security, and developer productivity.
Key Responsibilities :
- Infrastructure Excellence : Develop and maintain our AWS ecosystem (EKS, RDS, MongoDB Atlas, Redshift etc) using advanced Terraform patterns.
- CI/CD Orchestration : Own the evolution of our Jenkins Shared Libraries and ArgoCD/GitOps workflows to enable "one-click" reliable deployments.
- Kubernetes Management : Scale and optimize our EKS clusters, managing everything from node group lifecycles to network policies and ingress controllers.
- Security & Compliance : Lead the implementation of security best practices using AWS GuardDuty, Security Hub, and IAM, while managing identity through JumpCloud/LDAP.
- Operational Intelligence : Build robust monitoring and alerting systems using CloudWatch and SNS to ensure zero-downtime operations.
- Process Automation : Write high-quality automation scripts in Python, Groovy, and Shell to eliminate manual toil across the engineering lifecycle.
Technical Profile :
- Cloud : 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience (Deep knowledge of EKS, VPC, Lambda, S3, and Batch).
- IaC : Expert-level mastery of Terraform (Module development and state management).
- Containerization : Advanced Kubernetes administration and Docker optimization.
- Automation : Proven experience writing Jenkins Groovy Shared Libraries and designing ArgoCD pipelines.
- Data Systems : Experience managing distributed databases (MongoDB Atlas, PostgreSQL, Redis) and data pipelines (Glue, Redshift).
- Security : Familiarity with OpenVPN, LDAP authentication, and secret management (SSM/KMS).
Skills :
- Self-Driven : You don't wait for a ticket. You see a problem (like a failing node group or a slow build) and you fix it.
- Ownership Mindset : You treat the infrastructure as your own product. You are responsible for its health at any time.
- Communicator : You can explain complex infrastructure changes to developers and stakeholders clearly.
- Pragmatic : You balance "perfect" architecture with the need to ship and support business goals.
Good To Have :
- Experience with Managed Airflow (MWAA) or AWS Batch.
- Contributions to open-source DevOps tools.
- Security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, CKS).
