Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Software Delivery to lead our delivery function across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of client projects, driving delivery excellence, implementing quality practices aligned with CMMI Level 3 standards, and fostering strong client relationships. This is a senior leadership role requiring a mix of technical delivery oversight, process governance, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own end-to-end delivery of software projects across multiple clients, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.

- Establish, implement, and monitor delivery processes and best practices aligned with CMMI Level 3 standards.

- Work closely with project managers, engineering leads, QA, and client stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

- Track delivery metrics (quality, timelines, budget adherence, client satisfaction) and report to leadership.

- Identify and mitigate risks across projects to ensure smooth execution.

- Mentor and guide project managers and delivery teams to improve performance and efficiency.

- Act as a senior escalation point for clients, resolving issues with empathy, professionalism, and clarity.

- Continuously improve delivery frameworks, governance practices, and tools to enhance predictability and scalability.

- Use GenAI to continuously track and improve various ways of working and efficiency

Requirements :

- 10+ years of experience in software delivery, project management, or related leadership roles.

- Should have managed atleast 30+ engagements simultaneously of various sizes.

- Proven experience in managing end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent software projects.

- Strong knowledge of CMMI Level 3 practices and quality delivery frameworks.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client engagement skills.

- Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities.

- Prior experience in a software services / IT consulting environment is highly desirable.

- Good understanding of GenAI and practical usage.

- PMP and Agile certifications are a plus.
