Capabiliq INC is looking for a Senior Database Architect with deep expertise in SQL Server architecture and performance optimization to design and manage scalable, high-performance database systems.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in architecting enterprise-grade data solutions and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency across platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, architect, and optimize high-performance SQL Server database systems for enterprise applications.

- Develop and maintain complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

- Implement advanced indexing strategies, partitioning, and performance tuning to ensure optimal database performance.

- Work with Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server environments.

- Design and implement ETL processes, database migration strategies, and data transformation pipelines.

- Automate database operations and ensure robust High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) mechanisms.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient database design and seamless application integration.

- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, ensuring system reliability and uptime.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in SQL Server development and database architecture.

- Strong expertise in T-SQL, query optimization, indexing, and database performance tuning.

- Experience working with Azure SQL and PostgreSQL environments.

- Hands-on experience with ETL processes, SSIS, and data transformation frameworks.

- Knowledge of database security practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation using PowerShell.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to Big Data technologies and NoSQL databases.

- Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing solutions.

- Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, ADF, Databricks, and Snowflake.

- Experience with database monitoring and performance tools such as Redgate, SolarWinds, and SQL Profiler
