We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior MySQL & PostgreSQL DBA to join our team.
This role offers the chance to work on challenging projects within an enterprise environment, contributing to the stability and performance of critical database systems.

Responsibilities :

- Provide expert-level database administration for MySQL and PostgreSQL in an enterprise environment.

- Manage and maintain High Availability (HA) solutions for both MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.

- Perform advanced performance tuning and optimization for complex database queries and configurations.

- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure optimal operation.

- Collaborate directly with clients, providing technical expertise, understanding their requirements, and offering effective solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, ensuring minimal downtime and business continuity.

- Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and replication strategies.

- Participate in 24x7 rotational shifts to provide continuous support for critical database systems.

- Contribute to database design, capacity planning, and security initiatives.

- Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills and Experience :

Mandatory Skills :

- Primary Skill : 9+ years of extensive, hands-on experience as a MySQL DBA in an enterprise environment.

- Secondary Skill : Proven experience as a PostgreSQL DBA, including significant work in an enterprise setting.

Technical Expertise :

- Demonstrable expertise in database technologies, including High Availability (HA) configurations, replication, and disaster recovery.

- Strong proficiency in performance tuning and optimization techniques for both MySQL and PostgreSQL.

- Experience working with large-scale, mission-critical database systems.

- Solid understanding of database security best practices.

Qualifications :
