Role Overview :

The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for architecting, developing, and deploying enterprise-scale AI/ML predictive models that drive data-driven decision-making.

This role involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and customers to deliver scalable, production-ready machine learning solutions.

Must-Have Skills :

- Machine learning techniques : regression, classification, clustering, deep learning

- Programming languages : Python, R

- Machine learning libraries : TensorFlow, scikit-learn, PyTorch

- Data wrangling and feature engineering

- Model validation and testing

- Cloud platforms, distributed computing, and big data technologies

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Knowledge of P&C Insurance domain

- Experience working with US-based customers

- Experience leading teams or projects

- High-performance computing experience

- GenAI skills, including experience with LLMs

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop AI/ML predictive models using historical and industry data to enhance client decision-making

- Engage with senior executives and stakeholders to understand business needs and align AI/ML solutions accordingly

- Oversee implementation, testing, and validation of machine learning models for enterprise production environments

- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to integrate models into the product ecosystem

- Analyze complex datasets and deliver actionable business insights

- Stay updated with emerging AI/ML trends and incorporate best practices into development processes

- Drive technical vision for AI/ML initiatives while mentoring junior team members

- Partner with frontend, mid-tier, backend developers, and business analysts for production deployment

- Solve complex and ambiguous problems with minimal supervision

- Define and manage data requirements, quality assessments, and ETL processes for analytics projects

Required Relevant Experience :

- 8+ years of experience developing and deploying AI/ML predictive models in production

- Strong expertise in regression, classification, clustering, time series, and deep learning

- Advanced proficiency in Python, R, and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn

- Extensive experience with large, complex, high-volume datasets

- Proven experience in model validation, testing, and scalability

- Strong understanding of the P&C Insurance domain, including claims prediction, risk modeling, pricing optimization, and segmentation

- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior non-technical stakeholders

- Hands-on experience with structured and unstructured data, cloud platforms, and distributed computing

- Experience in predictive modeling, statistical modeling, data mining, and high-performance computing

Other Experience :

- Experience working with US-based customers

- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and MS Office

- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments

- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and proactive mindset

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Demonstrated leadership and ability to guide cross-functional teams

- Strong professional referrals preferred

Educational Qualifications :

- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field

- Advanced degree is a plus
