Senior Data Platform Engineer - ETL/Data Warehousing

Role Overview :

- Design and implement scalable and reliable data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and storage of large datasets.

- Develop and maintain data platform infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL processes.

- Optimize data platform performance and ensure data quality and security.

- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and provide them with the necessary data infrastructure and tools.

- Automate data platform operations and monitoring to ensure smooth and efficient operation.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data platform issues in a timely manner.

- Evaluate and implement new data technologies and tools to improve the data platform capabilities.

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable data pipelines using technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Apache Flink.

- Proven experience in building and maintaining data warehouses and data lakes using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
