Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Big Query, Airflow, and strong programming skills in Java or Python.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable data pipelines on GCP

- Build and optimize datasets using Big Query

- Implement workflow orchestration using Airflow / Cloud Composer

- Write efficient, production-ready code using Java or Python

- Optimize Big Query queries for performance and cost

- Work closely with analytics, data science, and product teams

- Ensure data quality, reliability, and governance standards

- Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline failures in production

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Hands-on expertise in Big Query

- Experience with Airflow (preferably GCP Composer)

- Strong coding skills in Java OR Python (any one mandatory)

- Advanced SQL skills (especially on Big Query)

Good to Have :

- Experience with Dataflow / Dataproc

- Knowledge of GCP security and IAM

- Experience handling large-scale data and complex transformations

- Exposure to data governance tools on GCP
