Position : Senior Data Engineer

Work Location : Hyderabad / Noida /Bhubaneswar

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Azure Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data solutions on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure data services, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade data platforms. This role involves mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation in data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services.

- Design and optimize data models for structured and unstructured data across various storage solutions (Data Lake, SQL, Cosmos DB).

- Lead the development of ETL/ELT processes and ensure data quality, consistency, and governance.

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring high availability and performance.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines for data engineering solutions using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

- Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices.

- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years on Azure.

- Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake.

- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.

- Experience with data modeling, performance tuning, and big data processing.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for deployment and monitoring.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Azure certifications (e.g., DP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure).

- Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools.

- Exposure to machine learning workflows and Gen AI integration.

- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and tools (e.g., Purview).
