About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Architect with strong expertise in Data Architecture and Data Modeling, particularly Kimball dimensional modeling, to support our enterprise data and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing scalable data models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving data architecture best practices across domains.

Key Responsibilities :

- Participate in requirement workshops and backlog refinement sessions to understand project data requirements.

- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade data models, with a strong focus on Kimball dimensional modeling and star schemas to support analytics and reporting.

- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models using industry-standard tools such as ER/Studio, Erwin, or PowerDesigner.

- Collaborate closely with Data Analysts, Data Stewards, and Data Governance teams to ensure alignment between data models, business requirements, and governance standards.

- Architect and optimize data pipelines, ensuring efficient data ingestion, transformation, and integration across diverse systems.

- Translate business requirements into scalable data architecture solutions that support both real-time and historical analytics.

- Ensure adherence to data architecture best practices, standards, and documentation across projects.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Data Analysis.

- Strong expertise in Dimensional Data Modeling and Kimball modeling techniques.

- Deep understanding of Star Schema, Fact and Dimension Tables, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).

- Experience in Data Warehouse design and Enterprise Data Modeling.

- Proficiency in SQL for data transformation, automation, and complex querying.

- Hands-on experience with ETL / ELT processes and data integration workflows.

- Familiarity with Data Lakes and Lakehouse architectures.

- Experience working with data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, Erwin, or Power Designer.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in Agile teams and sprint ceremonies.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake.

- Exposure to SAP ERP data environments.

- Experience with data integration tools and pipeline orchestration platforms.
