Job Description :

Position : Senior Consultant SAP HCM

Employment Type : Full-Time

Work Location : Chennai Office, WFO

Role Purpose :

Drive end-to-end functional ownership of SAP HCM to enable scalable HR operations, strengthen data integrity, and support enterprise transformation initiatives. The role partners with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to design, implement, localize, and optimize SAP HCM solutions while ensuring operational continuity and governance.

Key Responsibilities :

1. SAP HCM Implementation & Support :

- Lead implementation, configuration, testing, and post-go-live support of SAP HCM modules.

- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system solutions.

- Support enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Deliverable : Stable system operations and enhancements delivery.

2. Functional Design & Configuration :

- Configure enterprise and personnel structures.

- Maintain master data structures for rollout.

- Support ESS/MSS, OM, PA, Payroll, Time, L&D, and C&B processes.

- Experience in Indian Payroll.

- Deliverable : Configured system landscape.

3. Localization & Compliance :

- Ensure localization requirements for geographies (GOSI, visa, statutory reporting).

- Support compliance updates and audits.

- Deliverable : Statutory compliance and localization readiness.

4. Integration Management :

- Manage integration with FICO, MM, SD, and third-party systems.

- Support interface testing and issue resolution.

- Deliverable : Seamless system integration.

5. Data Migration & Governance :

- Lead data migration using LSMW and related tools.

- Ensure data quality and governance.

- Deliverable : Accurate HR master data.

6. Reporting & Analytics :

- Develop reports using SAP tools.

- Provide insights for decision-making.

- Deliverable : Functional and analytical reports.

7. Training & Stakeholder Enablement :

- Conduct user training and create SOPs.

- Act as SME for business teams.

- Deliverable : User adoption and knowledge transfer.

Experience & Qualifications :

Experience :

- 6 to 8 years in SAP HCM roles.

- Minimum two full lifecycle implementations.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in HR, Business, IT, or related field.

Certification :

- SAP HCM certification preferred.
