Role : Senior Consultant - AI/ML

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Consultant - AI/ML to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing, developing, and deploying traditional machine learning (ML) models as well as cutting-edge Generative AI (GenAI) solutions. This role requires a blend of strong technical proficiency, problem-solving ability, and consulting skills to translate business challenges into impactful AI/ML solutions.

- Design, build, and deploy end-to-end Machine Learning models (supervised, unsupervised, deep learning, NLP, time-series forecasting, etc.).

- Develop and implement Generative AI solutions (LLMs, transformers, diffusion models, RAG-based architectures, multimodal AI).

- Build scalable ML/GenAI pipelines integrating data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment.

- Optimize models for accuracy, performance, cost-efficiency, and explainability.

Consulting & Advisory :

- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI/ML adoption across functions.

- Provide thought leadership in AI strategy, MLOps best practices, model governance, and responsible AI.

- Translate complex technical outcomes into clear business insights and recommendations.

Collaboration & Delivery :

- Work with cross-functional teams (Data Engineering, Cloud, Product, Domain SMEs) to deliver AI/ML solutions.

- Mentor junior data scientists and engineers, and contribute to knowledge-building across the practice.

- Support pre-sales and proposal activities by preparing POVs, demos, and solution blueprints.

Required Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field. PhD preferred.

- Experience : 9 + years in Data Science / AI/ML roles, with hands-on exposure to both classic ML and Generative AI.

- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML libraries (scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

- Experience with NLP and GenAI frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex, RAG pipelines, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, Azure OpenAI, etc.).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Azure ML).

- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB).

- Knowledge of model governance, bias detection, and responsible AI practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks and autonomous workflow orchestration.

- Exposure to big data ecosystems (Spark, Databricks, Hadoop).

- Publications, patents, or open-source contributions in ML/GenAI space.
