Role Overview :

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Talent Pro, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining the core backend systems that power our SaaS platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA teams to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience and the overall success of our product by ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our backend infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable and resilient backend services using Python and/or Java to support the growing demands of our SaaS platform.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications and third-party services, ensuring data integrity and security.

- Optimize database performance and query efficiency to ensure fast and reliable data access for our users.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our coding standards and best practices to maintain a high-quality codebase.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to our users.

- Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate deployment processes and improve the overall reliability of our infrastructure.

- Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and services, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with our overall product vision.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and develop scalable backend systems using Python (Django/Flask) or Java (Spring Boot).

- Proven expertise in working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience building and consuming APIs.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex issues.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in backend development.

- Ability to work on-site in Bangalore.
