Work Schedule : 10 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM | 6 Days a Week

Role Overview :

We are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer with deep expertise in FastAPI, solid cloud knowledge, and working understanding of frontend systems.

This is a core engineering role in a fast-moving AI company, where delivery, reliability, and accountability are non-negotiable.

You will own backend systems end-to-end and are expected to take full responsibility for the quality and correctness of your work.

Core Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain production-grade FastAPI backends

- Develop secure, scalable REST APIs for AI/ML systems

- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

- Integrate backend services with frontend applications (React / Angular / JS)

- Work independently on assigned modules without supervision

- Ensure performance, security, and reliability of systems

- Debug, optimise, and refactor existing codebases

- Collaborate with AI/ML teams for model integration

- Take complete ownership of delivered work, from design to deployment

Mandatory Skill Set :

- FastAPI - minimum 3+ years hands-on experience (mandatory)

- Strong backend fundamentals (Python, APIs, async systems)

- Cloud experience : AWS / Azure / GCP

- Database knowledge : SQL / NoSQL

- Frontend understanding (React / Angular / JavaScript)

- Linux server handling and deployment exposure

- Ability to work independently and responsibly

Preferred / Added Advantage :

- Exposure to AI / ML / Deep Learning systems

- Experience integrating ML models into backend services

- Docker / basic DevOps understanding

- Experience in high-scale or high-availability systems

Accountability & Ownership :

- Candidate must stand accountable for the work delivered

- Responsible for bugs, failures, or incorrect implementations

- No dependency-based execution - ownership is expected

- Quality, correctness, and stability are critical
