Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to join the platform engineering team at Miso Robotics. This role focuses on building and scaling an AI-powered SaaS platform that leverages data from kitchen robots and restaurant management systems to drive automation, intelligent decision-making, and operational optimization.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, AI/ML frameworks, LLM integrations, and cloud-native application development, with the ability to convert real-time operational data into impactful AI-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and document scalable system architectures for AI/ML and LLM-powered services

- Build robust data ingestion and normalization pipelines from multiple enterprise systems (POS, HR, scheduling, IoT/robotics)

- Develop and deploy ML models for forecasting, anomaly detection, optimization, and insights

- Integrate OpenAI/ChatGPT APIs to build conversational assistants and intelligent chatbots

- Implement agentic AI workflows to automate operational processes

- Build workflow engines and schedulers powered by AI predictions

- Implement observability, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks for AI models

- Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, and GPU utilization

- Collaborate closely with data science, robotics, and product teams

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in production SaaS/platform development

- Strong programming expertise in Python

- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as :

i. PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, XGBoost

- Experience integrating and operating LLMs (OpenAI/ChatGPT APIs)

- Experience building chatbots or AI assistants

- Familiarity with AI orchestration tools such as :

i. LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, or similar

- Strong knowledge of SQL and modern data pipelines

- Experience with Docker, Linux, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have :

- Experience with robotics, IoT, or edge device data integration

- Experience with feature stores and analytics platforms

- Exposure to enterprise systems such as POS, HR, scheduling platforms

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
