Key Responsibilities :

Solution Architecture & Design :

- Design and architect end-to-end Asset Performance Management (APM) solutions for manufacturing and industrial environments.

- Define scalable and secure architectures that support predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, reliability management, and asset optimization.

- Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of APM platforms, IoT technologies, and enterprise systems.

- Establish architectural standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for APM implementations.

APM Platform Development & Implementation :

- Lead the development and deployment of custom APM applications and solutions.

- Configure and implement leading COTS APM platforms such as IBM Maximo APM, GE Digital APM, AVEVA APM, SAP APM, AspenTech, or similar solutions.

- Design frameworks for asset health monitoring, anomaly detection, root cause analysis, and predictive maintenance.

- Support enterprise-wide APM transformation initiatives and roadmap development.

Manufacturing & Industrial Integration :

- Integrate APM solutions with manufacturing systems including MES, SCADA, PLC, Historian, ERP, CMMS, and IoT platforms.

- Collaborate with plant operations and maintenance teams to identify critical asset management requirements.

- Develop asset reliability models and maintenance strategies to improve equipment uptime and operational efficiency.

- Ensure seamless data flow between shopfloor systems and enterprise applications.

Data & Analytics :

- Design data architectures that enable real-time monitoring and predictive analytics.

- Leverage machine learning, AI, and advanced analytics for asset performance optimization.

- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to measure asset reliability and operational performance.

- Enable data-driven decision-making through actionable insights and performance analytics.

Stakeholder & Project Leadership :

- Engage with business leaders, plant managers, reliability engineers, and IT teams to define solution requirements.

- Lead cross-functional teams during solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment phases.

- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development and engineering teams.

- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external implementation partners.

Required Skills :

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in Asset Performance Management (APM) architecture and implementation.

- Experience with leading APM platforms such as IBM Maximo APM, GE Digital APM, SAP APM, AVEVA APM, AspenTech, or equivalent.

- Knowledge of predictive maintenance, reliability engineering, asset health monitoring, and condition-based maintenance.

- Experience integrating APM solutions with MES, ERP, CMMS, SCADA, PLC, and Historian systems.

- Strong understanding of Industrial IoT (IIoT) architectures and manufacturing technologies.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

- Proficiency in data integration, APIs, microservices, and enterprise application architecture.

- Knowledge of AI/ML applications in asset reliability and predictive analytics.

Manufacturing Domain Expertise :

- Strong understanding of manufacturing shopfloor operations and industrial processes.

- Experience supporting industries such as Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, Energy, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, or Consumer Goods.

- Knowledge of maintenance operations, reliability engineering, and operational excellence frameworks.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

- 10+ years of overall experience in enterprise architecture, manufacturing technology, industrial automation, or APM implementations.

- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, enterprise architecture, reliability engineering, or APM platforms are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience leading large-scale digital manufacturing transformation initiatives.

- Exposure to Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, and Industrial IoT programs.

- Experience working with global manufacturing organizations.

- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices for industrial environments.

- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and enterprise integration methodologies.
