Senior AI Engineer - Deep/Machine Learning

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior AI Engineer to join our AI team.

In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning models that solve complex business problems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to build scalable AI solutions and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and optimize AI/ML models and algorithms for real-world applications

- Develop and maintain machine learning pipelines, including data preprocessing, model

training, validation, and deployment

- Collaborate with data engineers to acquire and process large-scale datasets for model training

- Evaluate and fine-tune models to improve accuracy, efficiency, and robustness

- Deploy AI models into production environments and monitor their performance and scalability

- Research and implement new AI techniques and stay updated with the latest advancements in the field

- Mentor junior AI engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams

- Communicate complex AI concepts and results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Technical Skills :

Machine Learning & AI Frameworks :

- Strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Keras

- Experience with advanced ML techniques : deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, reinforcement learning

- Familiarity with transformer models (e.g., BERT, GPT, Vision Transformers) and their practical applications

Data Handling & Engineering :

- Proficient in data manipulation and analysis using Pandas, NumPy, and SQL

- Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka is a plus

- Knowledge of data pipelines and ETL processes

Model Deployment & Scalability :

- Hands-on experience with deploying ML models using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services like AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, or Azure ML

- Familiarity with ML Ops tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or TensorFlow Extended (TFX)

Evaluation & Optimization :

- Skilled in model evaluation metrics (e.g., accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, ROC-AUC)

- Experience with hyperparameter tuning, cross-validation, and A/B testing

Programming & Software Engineering :

- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Java

- Familiarity with software development best practices, version control (Git), and agile methodologies

Qualifications :

- Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science,

Electrical Engineering, or a related field

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development and deployment

- Proven experience delivering AI solutions in production environments

- Published research or contributions to open-source AI projects is a plus

Preferred Experience :

- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and container orchestration

- Experience in specific domains such as healthcare AI, finance, autonomous systems, or

robotics

- Familiarity with explainable AI (XAI) and model interpretability techniques

- Experience with conversational AI, chatbots, or voice recognition systems
