Senior AEM Site Reliability Engineer

Role Overview :

We are hiring a Senior AEM SRE Engineer with strong experience in production support, application monitoring, incident handling, and ecommerce website operations. This role requires hands-on expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Java-based application support, observability, alerting/dashboarding, and root cause analysis in live production environments.

The ideal candidate should have recent experience supporting B2C/B2B ecommerce applications, handling critical incidents, improving system operability, and collaborating with development teams to enhance performance, scalability, and support readiness.

Key Responsibilities :

- Understand end-to-end production configuration, service dependencies, and system behavior

- Provide L2/L3 application production support and drive issues to timely resolution

- Participate in on-call rotation and support critical incidents and releases

- Work closely with development teams to review designs and identify monitoring/performance requirements

- Build and maintain alerts, monitors, dashboards, and operational workflows

- Troubleshoot production issues using logs, monitoring data, and code-level debugging

- Own and improve KPIs, metrics, SLOs, and operational visibility

- Drive root cause analysis and support permanent issue resolution

- Participate in ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes

- Act as an escalation point for complex or undocumented issues

- Support ecommerce-related integrations and platform operability

Required Skills :

- 7+ years of overall experience

- Recent 3+ years in L2 application production support for B2C/B2B ecommerce websites

- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

- Experience with monitoring tools and log aggregation tools

- Hands-on experience in alert creation, monitoring setup, and dashboard building

- Experience diagnosing production issues and debugging code

- Strong knowledge of Java and shell scripting

- Experience with ITIL processes, incident/problem/change management

- Experience with SLA/SLO metrics, SWAT support, and RCA

- Strong communication and stakeholder handling skills

- Agile / Scrum environment exposure
