Role Overview :

As a Security Engineer specializing in Structured Data Protection at Digihelic Solutions, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to safeguard our clients' structured data. You will collaborate closely with data architects, database administrators, and application developers to ensure data security is integrated throughout the data lifecycle. Your work will directly contribute to minimizing data breach risks and ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy regulations, ultimately building trust with our clients and protecting their valuable information assets.


Key Responsibilities :


- Design and implement data masking, encryption, and tokenization solutions to protect sensitive data at rest and in transit for our clients.



- Develop and maintain data security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.



- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans of databases and data warehouses to identify and remediate potential security weaknesses.



- Collaborate with application development teams to integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure secure coding practices.



- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents related to structured data.



- Provide technical guidance and support to clients on data security best practices and compliance requirements.



- Automate security tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.



- Stay up-to-date on the latest data security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to proactively address emerging risks.


Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement data security solutions, including data masking, encryption, and tokenization.



- Proven expertise in database security principles and practices, including access control, auditing, and vulnerability management.



- Strong understanding of data privacy regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and Indian data protection laws.



- Experience with security tools and technologies, such as database firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.



- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex security issues.



- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.



- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.



- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
