Security Engineer - DevSecOps & Data Automation

Key Responsibilities :

- Cloud Security Architecture : Design and implement robust security controls within Azure, ensuring compliance and protection across all cloud resources.

- Container Security : Secure and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerization technologies (Docker/Podman), focusing on runtime security and image scanning.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation : Develop scripts and automation services to eliminate manual security tasks and enforce "Security as Code" principles.

- Monitoring & Observability : Build and maintain advanced monitoring systems to detect anomalies, potential breaches, and performance bottlenecks in real-time.

- Data Security & Management : Oversee database security and management for systems like Elasticsearch, ensuring data integrity, encryption at rest, and secure access protocols.

- SRE Integration : Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to balance the need for reliability with strict security requirements.

- System Administration : Perform advanced Linux system administration, hardening kernels and managing secure configurations across the fleet.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum 8 years in Cybersecurity, Cloud Engineering, or DevSecOps roles.

- Azure Mastery : Expert-level knowledge of the Azure ecosystem, specifically Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Security Center.

- Containerization : Proficient in securing containerized workloads and understanding the orchestration layer (Kubernetes).

- Database Expertise : Hands-on experience managing and securing distributed databases like Elasticsearch.

- Automation & Scripting : Expert level in scripting (Python, Bash, or Go) to drive data automation and security orchestration.

- Linux Power User : Strong background in Linux internals, shell scripting, and server hardening.

- SRE Mindset : Proven ability to improve system reliability while maintaining a "Security First" posture.
