Job Title : Scrum Master - Techno Functional with BFSI Knowledge

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master with a techno-functional background and experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain. The ideal candidate will facilitate agile ceremonies, guide teams in agile practices, and bridge the gap between technical requirements and business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as a servant leader and coach to the agile team, promoting an understanding of Agile principles and practices.

- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Collaborate with product owners to prioritize the backlog, ensuring clear communication of requirements.

- Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.

- Help the team remove impediments and manage dependencies, ensuring smooth workflow.

- Work closely with both technical and business teams to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to suggest and implement process enhancements.

- Assist in the coordination of release planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an agile environment, preferably in the BFSI sector.

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and experience in implementing them effectively.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to mitigate risks proactively.

- Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management software.

- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and technical concepts relevant to the BFSI domain.

- Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is preferred.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Tools Required :

- Jira or similar tools for project management and tracking.

- Confluence or similar tools for documentation and collaboration.

- Agile and project management tools to facilitate tracking of progress and performance metrics.

- Communication tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, or similar for team collaboration.
