Scrum Master - Agile Methodologies

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in delivering high-impact technology projects.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile/Scrum practices, servant leadership, and a proven ability to remove obstacles and drive team productivity and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Serve as a servant leader and coach for Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.

- Guide the team in the effective use of Scrum practices and Agile methodologies.

- Help Product Owners maintain and refine the product backlog to ensure work is well-defined and prioritized.

- Shield the team from outside distractions and remove impediments that affect productivity.

- Track and report key Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, sprint burndown/up charts) for continuous improvement.

- Work with other Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, and stakeholders to increase the effectiveness of Agile practices across the organization.

- Foster a collaborative team environment focused on delivering high-value increments.

- Ensure the development team is fully functional and productive.

- Promote Agile best practices and support the transformation to scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) if applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.

- Deep knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile principles.

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I or higher) mandatory.

- Experience in coaching cross-functional development teams.

- Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps.

- Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.

- Ability to manage multiple Agile teams and coordinate dependencies across them.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe, Spotify, Nexus, etc.)

- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD practices, and test automation pipelines.

- Background in software development or business analysis is a plus.

- Experience working in domains like Banking, Healthcare, Insurance, or E-Commerce is advantageous.

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

Tools & Technologies :

- Agile Tools : JIRA, Trello, Rally, VersionOne.

- Documentation : Confluence, Notion.

- Communication : Slack, MS Teams, Zoom.

- Agile Reporting : Burndown Charts, Velocity, Sprint Reports.
