Scrum Master - Agile Methodologies

Description :

- Facilitate Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Retrospective) and ensure their effectiveness and efficiency.

- Identify anti-patterns in Scrum events and provide proper advice. Remove impediments or obstacles that hinder the team's progress and productivity.

- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to manage the sprint backlog, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment with project goals.

- Shield the team from external interruptions and distractions to maintain focus during Sprint cycles.

- Ensure transparency by maintaining accurate Scrum artifacts, such as Sprint Backlog, Burn-down Charts, and task boards.

- Ensure that SCRUM Teams follow the Resource Pro PMO guide.

2. Liaison & Communication :

- Encourage collaboration, communication, and self-organization within the team to enhance productivity and innovation.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies.

- Act as the primary interface with internal stakeholders for the development team, while representing their needs and objectives with the development team.

- Ensure that the product vision and clear goals are communicated to the team at the beginning of each release and sprint.

- Communicate requests across SCRUM teams, ensuring cadence and priority are aligned.

- Provide Agile-related status updates to Stakeholders, Cross-Functional Teams, and the Product Owner.

- Understand and negotiate the needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders.

3. Continuous improvement :

- Play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives within the Agile domain. Identify areas for improvement in the Agile processes, tools, and methodologies and firmly execute improvement solutions to increase product quality and team efficiency.

Working Experience : 8+ years of total IT experience which includes a minimum of 5+ years as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role within a software development or IT environment.

Competencies, Skills, and Behaviors :

- Btech/BCA/Mtech/MCA in computer science or IT related specialization

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent;

- Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and practical application in project execution.

- Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Strong resilience to face challenges and pressure

- Detail-oriented and result-oriented

- Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, etc.) and their usage in supporting Agile processes.
