Position Objective :

Looking for an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery across cross-functional technology teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enabling Scrum practices, removing impediments, improving team effectiveness, and ensuring successful delivery of business and technology objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams.

- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives.

- Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.

- Remove or facilitate the resolution of impediments that affect team productivity and delivery.

- Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a healthy and prioritized product backlog.

- Ensure the team maintains appropriate sprint goals, commitments, and delivery plans.

- Track sprint progress, velocity, burndown, and other Agile delivery metrics.

- Identify delivery risks, dependencies, and issues and ensure timely resolution.

- Facilitate collaboration between development, QA, business, architecture, and other cross-functional teams.

- Promote transparency and provide regular delivery updates to stakeholders and leadership.

- Identify opportunities to improve team productivity, quality, predictability, and overall Agile maturity.

- Support dependency management across multiple teams and programs.

- Help teams adopt effective estimation, planning, and capacity management practices.

- Ensure Agile processes are followed while avoiding unnecessary process overhead.

Unique Knowledge & Skill Requirement :

- 8+ years of experience in Agile delivery, with significant experience as a Scrum Master.

- Strong hands-on experience with Scrum framework, Agile principles, and Agile ceremonies.

- Experience facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Retrospective sessions.

- Proven experience in identifying and removing impediments and managing delivery risks.

- Strong experience working with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.

- Experience managing cross-functional and distributed Agile teams.

- Strong knowledge of backlog management, story refinement, estimation, sprint planning, and release planning.

- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.

- Experience tracking Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, sprint progress, and team capacity.

- Strong understanding of dependencies, risks, issues, and escalation management.

- Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder-management skills.

- Ability to coach teams and individuals on Agile practices and continuous improvement.

- Experience working in enterprise-level technology programs is preferred.

- Experience with SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks is an added advantage.

- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries is preferred.

- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

- Professional Scrum Master (PSM)

- SAFe Scrum Master certification

- PMI-ACP certification

- Experience working with globally distributed teams.

- Experience supporting multiple Scrum teams or large-scale Agile programs.
