Roles and Responsibilities :


- Serve as an expert level facilitator and leader of Agile/Scrum framework.

- Uphold Scrum Framework and Values. Ensures all Scrum teams are aware of and apply the Agile principles within the HGV guidelines.

- Ensure that pillars of empiricism are understood and being practiced.

- Foster a culture that supports the Scrum Values by building trust within Scrum Teams and the broader organization.

- Assists teams to focus on product value driven delivery through of collaboration and customer focus

- Work with development teams to promote Agile best practices and mentor team members on Agile processes.

- Facilitate scrum events and ensure they take place, are productive and stay within assigned timebox.

- Sprint Planning : Assist the Product Owner and the development team in accurate planning, including creation of sprint goals and a sprint backlog that the team can effectively deliver within the sprint timebox

- Sprint Review : Participate in the meeting and capture feedback to ensure transparency.

- Sprint Retrospectives Provide transparent data on team effectiveness. Guide scrum teams on their effectiveness in upholding Scrum. Facilitate and assist with team selection of adapting future sprints toward continuous improvement

- Utilizes communication and technical skills to remove organizational impediments, enhances collaboration, and ensures that the team delivers toward their commitments.

- Must have a demonstrated ability to effectively coach a high-performing delivery team in an Agile environment. Servant leadership.

- Participate in Scrum of Scrums, assists Product Managers and Release Managers to identify cross team dependencies, and organizational impediments that may impact project timelines.

- Work with Product & Release Managers and collaborate with teams across IT, Business Partners and Vendors to ensure the successful delivery of Projects and Products

- Develop, maintain and share metrics to inform, measure and report on team effectiveness

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Ability :


- Effective communication skills both verbal and written

- Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and confidence to motivate and influence others

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Adapts willingly to change

Basic Qualifications :


- 5+ years of experience as the Scrum Master of a development team

- Experience with building and coaching new scrum teams.

- Experience with Agile Transformations

- Experience with Azure Dev Ops & Aha, or similar tools

- Experience presenting to senior level management.

- Able to lead multiple (2-4) scrum teams.

- Experience with teaching technical teams the basic Agile framework concepts.

- Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications :


- Knowledge of agile project management frameworks

- Knowledge of IT infrastructures

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.

- Professional Scrum Master (PSM) Certification
