Job Description SAP EAM Consultant

Role Summary :

The SAP EAM Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Enterprise Asset Management solutions to enable effective maintenance planning, asset lifecycle management, and operational reliability for enterprise clients.

The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable and compliant asset management solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Functional Responsibilities :

- Lead and support SAP EAM implementations and rollouts across maintenance and asset-intensive industries

- Gather and analyze business requirements related to :

1. Asset Master Data

2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

3. Breakdown Maintenance

4. Refurbishment & Shutdown Management

- Configure SAP EAM components including :

1. Technical Objects (Equipment, Functional Locations)

2. Maintenance Plans & Task Lists

3. Notifications & Work Orders

4. Measuring Points & Counters

- Support end-to-end maintenance processes from notification to order settlement

- Work closely with MM, FI, PM, and PS modules for :

1. Spare parts management

2. Cost tracking and settlement

3. Capitalization and depreciation of assets

- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP teams for enhancements

- Support UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities

- Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations

Integration & Advanced Capabilities :

- Integration with :

1. SAP MM (Procurement & Inventory)

2. SAP FI/CO (Costing & Asset Accounting)

3. SAP PS (Project Systems)

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA EAM

- Exposure to :

1. Linear Asset Management (LAM)

2. SAP Asset Accounting (AA)

3. SAP EAM Reporting & KPIs

- Familiarity with mobile maintenance solutions (SAP PM Mobile, Fiori Apps)

- Knowledge of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) concepts

Requirements :

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) / Plant Maintenance (PM).

- Proven track record of delivering at least one end-to-end SAP EAM implementation project, covering the full project lifecycle.

- Solid understanding of maintenance and asset management business processes, with the ability to align solutions to business needs.

- Skilled in engaging with business stakeholders, gathering and analyzing requirements, translating them into effective SAP solutions, and supporting end-user training and documentation.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.

- Experience in writing functional specifications and supporting testing cycles
