We are looking for a skilled SAS Administrator to manage and optimize our SAS infrastructure, focusing on installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support for both SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- SAS Installation & Configuration: Design and implement SAS solutions following best practices, including installing SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya 3.5 in both single and multi-machine configurations.

- Upgrades & Migrations: Perform in-place upgrades and migrations for SAS solutions, ensuring seamless transitions.

- Integration & Administration: Integrate SAS products with third-party tools, and administer components like Metadata Server, Web Server, and Clustered Metadata.

- License & Hotfix Management: Handle SAS license renewals and apply necessary hotfixes to maintain system health.

- SAS Developer Tools: Utilize SAS DI, SAS EG, and deployment backup/recovery tools to support the environment.

- Kubernetes Administration: Administer SAS Viya 4 on Kubernetes (OpenShift Cluster), ensuring smooth deployment and operation.

- Scheduling & Security: Manage job schedulers (e.g., cron, LSF) and implement row-level security to protect sensitive data.

- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support to SAS developers, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for SAS 9.4 and Viya problems.

- User Management: Manage user access and permissions, including the Viya SAS Management Console, and implement security measures.

- Problem-Solving & Proactivity: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience with SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya, particularly in installation, configuration, and administration.

- Expertise in managing SAS environments and integrating third-party tools.

- Strong knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, and SAS developer tools (e.g., DI, EG).

- Problem-solving abilities and proactive in resolving technical issues.
