We are hiring an experienced SAS Administrator to manage, optimize, and support SAS Grid environments within a Linux ecosystem.

What Youll Be Doing :

- Administer & maintain SAS Grid environments on Linux ensuring high availability & performance

- Handle installation, configuration, upgrades & patching of SAS environments

- Develop & optimize Unix shell scripts for automation & monitoring

- Use Python for automation & system optimization

- Troubleshoot performance issues & conduct log analysis

- Manage SAS Metadata Server, SAS Compute Servers & SAS Studio

- Implement security policies, manage user access & compliance

- Monitor backups, system logs & health checks

- Support Oracle SQL & database connectivity

- Coordinate with infra & cross-functional teams for smooth operations

What Were Looking For :

- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience

- 5 to 7 years hands-on in SAS Administration (SAS Grid in Linux)

- Strong Unix/Linux shell scripting expertise

- Solid Python skills for automation

- Experience in SAS performance tuning & troubleshooting

- Familiarity with job scheduling & workload management in SAS Grid

- Working knowledge of Oracle SQL & DB integrations

- Strong communication & collaboration skills

Nice to Have :

- Experience with Cloud-based SAS (AWS / GCP / Azure)

- Exposure to Kerberos, LDAP, Active Directory integration

- Knowledge of PostgreSQL or other DB platforms

- Understanding of Business Analytics / BI environments
