Role Overview :

As an SAP VIM Consultant, you will serve as the primary technical and functional bridge for our clients' invoice processing and automation requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and IT stakeholders, to design and deploy robust OpenText VIM solutions. Your day-to-day involves translating complex business requirements into scalable SAP configurations, ensuring seamless integration between VIM and core SAP modules to enhance financial transparency and reduce manual processing cycles for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and customize SAP VIM workflows to automate end-to-end invoice processing, ensuring high accuracy and compliance for client finance departments.

- Lead the integration of OpenText VIM with SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA environments to facilitate smooth data flow and real-time financial reporting.

- Collaborate with SAP MM and FICO functional teams to map procurement and accounting processes, optimizing the invoice-to-pay lifecycle.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the VIM/OpenText ecosystem, minimizing system downtime and improving user adoption.

- Develop custom enhancements using SAP ABAP to address unique client-specific business logic and reporting requirements.

- Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users to ensure successful system transition and long-term operational efficiency.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end implementation and support of SAP VIM and OpenText Invoice Management solutions.

- Strong functional knowledge of SAP MM and SAP FICO modules, specifically regarding invoice verification, purchase orders, and general ledger accounting.

- Proven ability to debug and perform minor development tasks using SAP ABAP to support VIM-related customizations.

- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business problems into technical solutions within SAP ECC and S/4 HANA environments.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical business partners.

- Ability to work effectively in a remote or distributed team environment, maintaining high standards of delivery and documentation.

- Candidates must possess 5 - 8 years of relevant professional experience in SAP VIM consulting.
