Role Overview :

As an SAP VIM Consultant, you will serve as a critical bridge between complex financial processes and technical automation. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing OpenText Vendor Invoice Management solutions to streamline accounts payable workflows for our clients. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including SAP FI/MM functional consultants and technical developers, you will ensure that invoice processing is accurate, compliant, and efficient. Your expertise will directly influence the financial operational excellence of our clients by reducing manual intervention and enhancing data integrity across their SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and customize OpenText VIM solutions to meet specific business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with SAP FI and MM modules.

- Design and maintain complex SAP Workflow scenarios to automate invoice approval processes and reduce cycle times for the finance department.

- Manage OCR configurations and troubleshooting to improve document recognition accuracy and minimize exceptions during data extraction.

- Monitor and resolve IDOC processing errors to maintain consistent data flow between external systems and the SAP environment.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical specifications for system enhancements.

- Provide post-implementation support and end-user training to ensure high adoption rates and system stability.

Required Skillset :

- Possess 5 - 9 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting OpenText VIM and SAP Workflow solutions.

- Demonstrate deep functional knowledge of SAP FI (Accounts Payable) and SAP MM (Procurement) processes to effectively map business needs to technical solutions.

- Exhibit strong proficiency in managing OCR technologies and resolving IDOC-related technical challenges within an SAP ecosystem.

- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively within diverse, geographically dispersed teams.

- Showcase a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to adapt to varying project scopes and remote work environments.

- Hold a relevant degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, complemented by a track record of delivering high-quality SAP solutions.
