Job Title : SAP Test Engineer (Automation & Functional Testing)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a motivated SAP Test Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience in SAP Functional and Automation Testing.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing SAP applications, developing test scenarios and test cases, executing functional and automation tests, and validating SAP business processes.

The candidate should possess a good understanding of SAP modules and testing methodologies to ensure high-quality application delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute test scenarios and test cases for SAP applications.

- Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing for SAP implementations and enhancements.

- Validate SAP applications against business and functional requirements.

- Develop and maintain automation test scripts to improve testing efficiency.

- Execute test cases and analyze test results to identify defects and inconsistencies.

- Log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.

- Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, developers, and project stakeholders to understand business requirements.

- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support business users during testing cycles.

- Prepare test plans, test reports, and other testing documentation.

- Ensure compliance with testing standards, quality processes, and best practices.

- Support production validation and post-deployment testing activities.

Required Skills & Experience :

1. Primary Skills :

- 1 to 3 years of experience in SAP Functional Testing and/or SAP Test Automation.

- Good understanding of SAP business processes.

- Experience in writing and executing :

1. Test Scenarios

2. Test Cases

3. Test Scripts

- Knowledge of Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and System Testing.

- Experience in defect tracking and test execution.

- Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

2. SAP Knowledge :

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of one or more SAP modules such as :

1. SAP FICO

2. SAP MM

3. SAP SD

4. SAP PP

5. SAP HCM

6. SAP SuccessFactors

- Understanding of end-to-end SAP business processes.

3. Automation Skills :

- Exposure to SAP test automation tools such as :

1. Tricentis Tosca (Preferred)

2. Worksoft Certify

3. Selenium (for SAP web applications)

4. UFT (Good to Have)

- Basic scripting knowledge is an advantage.

4. Secondary Skills :

- Familiarity with defect management tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps.

- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

- SAP testing certification or software testing certification is an added advantage.

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA testing.

- Knowledge of API and integration testing is a plus.

- Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps testing practices.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
