Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Test Engineer with strong expertise in functional and automation testing across SAP applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience testing one or more SAP modules such as MDG, SD, FICO, S/4HANA, PP, or QM, along with proficiency in test management, test automation, and Agile delivery methodologies. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and development teams to ensure high-quality SAP implementations and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze business requirements and functional specifications to develop comprehensive test strategies and test plans.

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for SAP applications.

- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.

- Validate SAP business processes across one or more modules including MDG, SD, FICO, S/4HANA, PP, and QM.

- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using standard defect management tools.

- Participate in test planning, effort estimation, test execution, and release validation activities.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business users to resolve testing issues and improve product quality.

- Support automation initiatives by identifying suitable test cases for automation and maintaining automated test suites where applicable.

- Prepare test execution reports, quality metrics, and project status updates.

- Ensure adherence to organizational quality standards, testing best practices, and project timelines.

Required Technical Skills :

- 5 - 10 years of experience in Software Testing with a strong focus on SAP applications.

- Hands-on experience testing one or more SAP modules such as :

1. SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)

2. SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)

3. SAP FICO

4. SAP S/4HANA

5. SAP PP (Production Planning)

6. SAP QM (Quality Management)

- Experience with SAP testing tools such as Tricentis Tosca or similar automation platforms.

- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), defect lifecycle, and quality assurance processes.

- Experience creating and executing detailed test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.

- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, or Solution Manager.

- Good understanding of integration testing and end-to-end business process validation.

- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
