We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Consultant - Data Migration Lead to spearhead the data migration initiatives for a large-scale SAP ECC / S/4 HANA deployment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP systems, data migration strategies, and stakeholder collaboration, with the ability to lead complex end-to-end data transition projects. This is a key leadership role contributing to the success of digital transformation efforts within our enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage the full lifecycle of data migration activities from planning to execution and post-go-live support, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.

- Develop robust data migration strategies and methodologies, including ETL processes, to ensure smooth and efficient data transitions across SAP ECC or S/4 HANA landscapes.

- Work in close coordination with functional teams, business users, IT stakeholders, and third-party vendors to gather and validate data requirements.

- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data prior to migration.

- Lead testing cycles including unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validating data integrity post- migration.

- Maintain detailed documentation of migration strategies, data mapping, transformation rules, and process flows to support audits and knowledge sharing.

- Mentor junior team members and provide training to users and stakeholders on data migration best practices and standards.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC / S/4 HANA data migration projects.

- Deep knowledge of data migration tools and methodologies (LSMW, BODS, SAP Data Services, etc.).

- Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data quality frameworks.

- Proven experience managing large, cross-functional teams and delivering end-to-end SAP data migration projects.

- Proficiency in ETL processes, data mapping, and transformation logic.

- Strong command of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

- SAP Certification(s) in Data Migration or S/4 HANA

- Experience in managing greenfield or brownfield SAP implementations

- Exposure to cloud migration and data virtualization tools

- Familiarity with SAP Activate Methodology
